Miguel, a young psychiatrist working in Madrid, learns that his wife has just dumped him for no one else than his own father while hes expecting his mother-in-laws visit, whos come to the city on a medical revision, and doesnt know anything about her daughters affair; to make things worse, one of Miguels deranged patients has just stolen his wallet. Going to his patients home to retrieve his wallet hell meet instead his spontaneous and outspoken hairdresser sister Jasmina, whos bound to change Miguels ordered, upper-middle-class world for good.
